I have been following the Picture Book Month calendar by reading picture books each day. The calendar gives you an area to concentrate on and today it is nature.

I went to the public library and checked out:

TITLE: LEAVES FALL DOWN: LEARNING ABOUT AUTUMN LEAVES

Author: Lisa Bullard

Illustrator : Nadine Takvorian

Word Count: 302-words

Summary: Written in simple text, this book explains why leaves change color.

Personal Thought: This book is amazing. The illustrations are captivating. I love the blending of the brown, orange and sage green mixing on the page. It gives the feel of autumn.  I am so in love with these drawing I am thinking about buying the book, pulling the pages apart, and making a collage. It is amazing.
